Will My Insurance Pay For My Treatment?
Many times it will. We are preferred providers for Regence Blueshield of Washington and Oregon. We are also providers for Ameriplan. Generally, in order for health insurance to pay for our service you need a Doctor's referral. Check your insurance for Massage Therapy benefits. Be sure to ask about "out of network benefits." We would be happy to help you with this.
How Often, or How Many Times Will I Need to Come In?
Together, we will determine a treatment plan that best meets your needs. Most clients start out with one or two appointments per week, decreasing in frequency as improvement happens. Acute conditions tend to resolve quickly, while chronic conditions may require more frequency. Your body takes time to adjust, heal, and stabilize, so it is important to give yourself adequate time for gains to become well established.

Are These Therapies Safe?
Yes, that is one of the very best things about these gentle, natural practices. Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, and Reiki have excellent safety records, with very low incidences of serious or harmful side effects. Our practitioners use careful therapeutic touch and slow range of motion exercises which are safe for virtually anyone. CranioSacral and Reiki Therapies use the lightest touch and are especially appropriate for recent injuries, fragile, or chronic conditions.

Are These Therapies Compatible With Other Therapies?
Yes, there is usually no reason not to combine these natural treatments with virtually any other type of treatment. We find that our patients often make much faster progress when using a multi-modality approach. We are happy to work with other providers to develop an integrated treatment plan, and will furnish progress notes on request.
