Licensed Massage Therapist,
CranioSacral Therapist
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment approach to correcting imbalances in the central nervous system and connective tissue that may be causing pain or dysfunction in our Body/Mind. It can address the underlying causes of, chronic neck and back pain, stress and tension-related problems, sinus headaches, traumatic injuries, anxiety, insomnia and much more.
A CranioSacral Therapy session lasts from 30 to 60 minutes. Practioners use a very light touch to evaluate and treat problem areas. Patients are fully clothed during treatment.
About John Jackson LMP,CST-D
"I am a Licensed Massage Practitioner in the State of Washington and have been practicing since 1991. Throughout this time I have continuously pursued advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy. I am certified at the Techniques, and Diplomate Level by Doctor John E. Upledger, D.O., developer of CranioSacral Therapy. Also, I am a proud member of the American CranioSacral Therapy Association, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work and the American Massage Therapy Association.
The primary focus of my practice has been working with individuals that have chronic pain/illness issues. I work with Adults, Children, and Infants. CranioSacral Therapy's subtle effects allow for the safe release of physical and emotional dysfunction. This subtle approach facilitates the self corrective and healing potential within the individual to be realized and intergrated. Each individual case is unique as are the fundamental causes and patterns that underlie symptoms. Treatment sessions are ideally done on a weekly basis initially and may range from as few as two for some people to as many as ten or more for others. Ultimately the client knows when their goals have been met and tell me when we are finished.
