Licensed Massage Therapist,
CranioSacral Therapist
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment approach to correcting imbalances in the central nervous system and connective tissue that may be causing pain or dysfunction in our Body/Mind/Emotions. Its use is effective in getting to the underlying causes of chronic pain, stress and tension-related problems, chronic headpain, TMJ dysfunction, unexplained depression, and much more.
A CranioSacral Therapy session usually lasts 60 minutes. Practioners use a very light touch to evaluate and treat problem areas. Patients are fully clothed during treatment.
About John Jackson LMP,CST-D
"I am a Licensed Massage Practitioner in the State of Washington and have been in private practice since 1991. Throughout this time I have continuously grown in my experience and education in CranioSacral Therapy. I am certified "Diplomate" in CranioSacral Techniques by Doctor John E. Upledger, D.O., developer of CranioSacral Therapy. I am a proud member of the International Association of Health Care Practioners and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.
The focus of my practice is working with individuals that have chronic issues such as pain (physical & emotional), nervous system imbalances that present as a symptom like anxiety/restlessness or fatigue. I work with Adults, Children, and Infants. CranioSacral Therapy's subtle effects allow for the safe release of physical and emotional dysfunction. This gentle approach facilitates the self corrective and healing potential within the individual to be realized and integrated. Each individual case is unique as are the fundamental causes and patterns that underlie symptoms. Treatment sessions are ideally done on a weekly basis initially and may range from as few as two for some people to as many as ten or more for others.
